Greg has had a heart for what the Lord is doing in the "remotest parts of the earth" for more than 30 years, especially in Asia.
After serving in his local church for more than three decades, Greg began looking toward retirement from his job as a professor and wondered what the Lord had in store for the next stage of life.
Missions came back into view stronger than ever. While helping as a grader for the Perspectives on the World Christian Movement class that his church hosted in January of 2025, a representative from OMS gave a 10-minute presentation on the work the organization is doing. What caught Greg's attention was the itinerant (non-residential) missionary opportunities OMS offers, a perfect way to serve in retirement.

What caught Greg's attention was the itinerant (non-residential) missionary opportunities OMS offers, a perfect way to serve in retirement.
Greg serves with OMS as an associate church multiplication facilitator (ACMF) for Asia. He is helping a team in southeast Asia implement a saturation project approach, which has already impacted several different areas and a wide range of people groups. Greg will travel once or twice a year to Asia to support and encourage those doing in-country retreats and training. He also participates in weekly online meetings to stay connected and encourage the brothers and sisters on the field.
Greg is so thankful to be married to his wonderful wife Lina for 38 years. They live in Tallmadge, Ohio. They have three precious daughters, three tremendous sons-in-law, and five very active grandsons – who all live nearby and who also keep them quite busy and fulfilled. Greg’s prayer is to for those who do not know God to know him, "the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent" (Jn 17:3).
