Turkey and Syria Earthquake

Please pray with OMS for the aftermath of the massive earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria on Feb. 6, 2023. The disaster has claimed more than 40,000 lives to date (Feb. 16) and left hundreds of thousands homeless in the middle of winter. Rescue efforts continue for those still trapped.
Pray for all the organizations involved in relief efforts. Pray for opportunities for Christians to be the compassionate hands and feet of Jesus in this unsettling time.
While OMS does not have workers on the ground in either country, we do have trusted partners there. Any funding given by OMS donors will be channeled through one of them to help provide relief in the affected areas.
