OUR COMMITMENT TO SAFEGUARDING
Our desire is to prevent harm of any kind, whether physical, emotional, spiritual or sexual by creating a culture of health and accountability through screening, training, and appropriate, timely response to any concerns that may arise.
We believe that the most effective way to prevent harm is through awareness and cooperation and is the responsibility of every adult within OMS. We are committed to support all our members as we work together to create a place of safety where we can grow together toward what God has intended us to be.
The welfare and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults is of utmost importance to One Mission Society, and we are committed to creating a culture that reflects the heart of God by providing a place where the vulnerable, and their families, can flourish.
AFFILIATION
One Mission Society is affiliated with the Child Safety & Protection Network (CSPN) and utilizes its assessment framework and resources as part of our safeguarding program. OMS incorporates these best practices into our safeguarding policies, procedures, and response processes to help protect children and vulnerable adults and promote safe, healthy ministry environments worldwide.
REPORTING
One Mission Society staff and volunteers are responsible to report any suspicion of, or disclosures of, child or vulnerable adults harm within 24 hours to the Safeguarding Director. The OMS Safeguarding Director will promptly respond to any report.
This form is designed as an initial report for current suspicion or concern, but may also be used to report historical allegations.
