The Chongón Ecuador Training Center Project aims to build a facility for discipleship, children and youth ministry, vocational training, worship, and community outreach.
As ministry in Chongón expands, the needs for a meeting place also increase. While we plan to continue meeting in homes long-term, it became a challenge to accommodate the 100+ people who gather at Kids’ Club in a private home. In 2020, God blessed us with the funds to buy a centrally-located property, right across the street from a huge new government housing development. Generous donations allowed the first phase of construction to begin, providing a roofed area for meeting during the rainy season.
More space is needed to accommodate Kids’ Club, youth group, counseling and prayer, worship services, vocational training, academic tutoring, and community outreach.
