With One Mission Society (OMS), Paul and Ruth want to help plant 97 churches in Asia, serving as an Associate Church Multiplication Facilitator.

Paul is a native of South Korea, and a graduate of the Methodist Seminary. He also holds an MBA in business and marketing, and has studied at several schools in USA. His academic prowess led him to a significant role at the Ecumenical Institute (EI) in Korea, a renowned office and training center where individuals lived and worked harmoniously. In 1976, Paul further honed his skills by participating in an intensive training school at the Chicago office of the EI, a testament to his dedication and commitment to his work.

Paul's leadership and community engagement are demonstrated through his participation in a significant program in the United States during the bicentennial, known as the Town meeting. These meetings provided communities with a platform to articulate their three-year vision and propose projects that would help them achieve their goals, a testament to Paul's commitment to community development.

As the work of the EI staff spread worldwide, Paul's work turned to human development projects in many countries. After helping communities delineate their vision and challenges, local community residents, with assistance from institute staff, took up residence of these communities and found ways to address the community's challenges by creating new programs or connecting with government programs. Paul became deeply involved in these projects, including those with a native Indian community, an urban ghetto community, and projects in many countries. During that time, Paul helped lead strategic planning for a business called LENS.

After working in these communities with EI and religious houses for 10 years, United Methodist bishops appointed Paul as a local pastor in both English and Korean churches in New Jersey, New York, and Colorado for 30 years. At that time, Paul was deeply involved with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and simultaneously translated his messages into Korean in Buffalo, New York, and New Jersey.

Following an Africa mission trip, Paul and Ruth developed a vision to spend the rest of their lives helping to establish over 100 churches. Their mission and challenges have already grown three churches - Chinese, English, and Korean. Paul has several Bible studies and prayer meetings with pastors and missionaries worldwide using Zoom.

Ruth was a CCC-CRU staff member who focuses on helping students build faith and commitment. She also joined OM (Operation Mobilization) and sailed with Logos ships with people from 33 countries on mission trips.

Paul and his wife live in Colorado Springs, CO, and have a son, Paul Jr., and a daughter, Jean.
