David McClary

After 48 years in ministry as a church pastor, David McClary became a special assignment missionary with One Mission Society in June 2018. As an associate church multiplication facilitator for the South Pacific, David’s ministry is in training, coaching, and encouraging partners with Every Community for Christ to reproduce evangelizing and worshiping communities.
Before joining OMS, David led short-term mission trips to Mexico, Haiti, India, China, Indonesia, and Malawi, Africa. David received a bachelor of theology degree from Ozark Christian College and a master of arts in ministry degree from Hope International University. He served churches in Indianapolis, Indiana; Tulsa, Oklahoma; Cucamonga, California; and Dayton, Ohio. David’s wife, Thelma, has been the children’s ministry director in their ministries in California and Ohio.
The McClarys have three sons who are church pastors and their daughter is married to a church pastor.
