DWIM Prayer Coordinator

Honor and glorify God by ensuring regular, earnest prayer support of the Dynamic Women in Missions (DWIM) ministries around the world.

Skills and Experience Requirements:
  • The position requires a sound biblical doctrine in conformity with the Statement of Faith of One Mission Society.
  • Must be able to communicate with and influence all levels of One Mission Society, donors, donor organizations, as well as, cross culturally with the DWIM worldwide ministry partners.
  • Responds to common inquiries and/or comments from domestic and international ministry partners.
  • Capability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style, format and security level.
  • Ability to effectively present information to all levels of the organization as well as ministry partners and potential ministry partners.
  • Requires logical/systematic-thinking skills, the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, and the ability to interpret an extensive variety of ministry data.
  • High School Diploma required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prays earnestly for DWIM personnel and the fruitfulness of DWIM ministries in keeping with Kingdom purposes and principles described in the Bible.
  • Communicates the vision for DWIM supporters around the world, partner agencies, DWIM teams and staff, and to the leadership and staff of One Mission Society around the world.
  • Recruits, develops and encourages a team of prayer warriors to cover DWIM related ministries and teams in prayer.
  • Recruits, trains and travels with prayer teams for on-site prayer support of DWIM ministries and events in US and abroad; leading some teams globally.
  • Writes the Daily Devotions and Prayers for the DWIM online page as an outreach to women and as part of the DWIM mission statement.
  • Provide encouragement and training for prayer teams.
  • In collaboration with mission trip ministry teams, DWIM Leadership team, social media associates and OMS constituents, coordinate prayer care for women.
  • Develops prayer tools using print and electronic media to facilitate the communication of prayer requests and answers to prayer.
  • Ensures that security and confidentiality concerns are met by all OMS staff and prayer warriors in the communication of prayer requests.
  • Develops and provides training for DWIM Prayer Teams around the world.
  • Additional duties as requested by DW supervisor to promote/support DW team members and leadership.
Additional Details:
  • This is a support-based position that involves raising financial support through ministry partners for salary and other expenses.
  • This remote role can be part-time or full-time.
