Matt and Stacey Ayars

Matt and Stacey Ayars married in June 2005, knowing that the Lord was calling and confirming them both to teach his Word wherever he led. In 2007, they moved to Haiti as One Mission Society missionaries, blessed with that burden.

Graduates of Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky, Matt finished with a degree in Bible and theology and Stacey in journalism and foreign missions. Matt also earned his doctorate in Old Testament from the University of Chester.

For his glory, Matt and Stacey work alongside our Haitian brothers and sisters at Emmaus Biblical Seminary of Haiti. Matt is the president of the seminary, and he teaches various courses in biblical studies. In addition to his work in Haiti, he also serves as the vice president of Theological Education for OMS.

Stacey teaches English, helps with the seminary finances, and helps raise awareness and support for the pastors, leaders, missionaries, and evangelists who attend.

God gave them Lily Sue in January 2009, Sofia Lovely in June 2011, Nora Joy in August 2015, and Ben, born in Haiti in 2018.

Matt and Stacey continue to stand upon his loving faithfulness and upon your support and prayers.
