Matt and Stacey Ayars

Matt and Stacey Ayars married in June 2005, knowing that the Lord was calling them both to teach his Word wherever he led. In 2007, they moved to Haiti as One Mission Society missionaries serving with Emmaus Biblical Seminary (now Emmaus University).

At Emmaus, Matt served as associate professor of Old Testament from 2007–2020, provost from 2010–2012, and president from 2012–2020.

In 2020, the Ayars family relocated to Jackson, Mississippi, where Matt now serves as the president of Wesley Biblical Seminary. Matt also serves on the board of the Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary.

Stacey still works part-time for Emmaus. She helps raise awareness and support for the pastors, leaders, missionaries, and evangelists who attend Emmaus.

Matt and Stacey have four children: Lily, Sofia, Nora, and Ben.

Matt and Stacey continue to stand upon his loving faithfulness and upon your support and prayers.
