Theri Santos
Missionary Account: #802847Theri’s heart for children's discipleship and missions began to develop as a teenager when she took her first mission trip to Mexico with her youth group. She graduated from Valley Forge Christian College with a degree in theology and missions and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Christian education at Logos Christian University.
A veteran missionary in Ecuador for 27 years with the Assemblies of God and the Church of God of Prophecy, Theri traveled internationally in Latin America and Spain, training leaders in children's ministry and serving as the national director of children's ministry for her denomination.
Additionally, she founded and directed the New Generation Foundation in Ecuador, which trained leaders to minister to kids and provided social projects in needy areas of the country.
Recently, Theri and her husband, Rodrigo, had to leave Ecuador due to security concerns and are now residing in Maryland, United States. As a missionary with OMS, Theri will travel throughout the Latin America/Caribbean region, serving as a children’s disciple-making coordinator and trainer. Her prayer is that through this ministry, Spanish-speaking children will come to know the Lord and will be discipled with excellence by skilled Christian workers who love serving kids.
“You shall teach them diligently to your children and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up…” Deuteronomy 6:7 (NKJV)
