In 2023, I had the opportunity to tour One Mission Society (OMS), where I first learned about Dynamic Women in Mission (DWIM). As I heard how DWIM equips, connects, and ministers to women around the world, my heart was immediately drawn to the ministry. After participating in several trips, God began stretching me into a new role as a prayer coordinator. While I had always prayed for others, this role challenged me to step out more boldly—praying out loud, praying over women in person, and trusting the Holy Spirit to guide my words. Through this experience, my prayer life has deepened, and my relationship with the Lord has grown in ways I never expected.

I married my husband, my best friend, in 1990. God blessed us with two children, but we felt called to grow our family through foster care. With our second placement, we welcomed a sibling group of three young children into our home. After two years, we were blessed to adopt them, filling our home with laughter, love, and the joyful busyness of a larger family.

Now that our children are grown, God has opened a new season of ministry in my life. Serving as the prayer coordinator with DWIM allows me to walk alongside women, lift them up in prayer, and create space for the Holy Spirit to work in their lives. I love encouraging women and meeting them where they are, praying with them, and reminding them of God’s grace and love.

It is a privilege to witness how God uses simple moments of prayer and connection to touch hearts and transform lives—including my own.
