Foster Pilcher
Missionary Account: #802191W. Foster Pilcher serves One Mission Society as the senior graphic designer. He designs OMS’ magazine, OMS Outreach, and he oversees the design of all OMS field brochures, logos, prayer tracts, and some book covers. Foster also has had his hand in coordinating the production of OMS videos.
Foster has had the opportunity to travel to Haiti, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, East Asia, Ecuador, and Russia to capture the ministries of OMS missionaries through photography.
After graduating from Terre Haute South Vigo High School in Terre Haute, Indiana, Foster attended Ball State University (BSU) in Muncie, Indiana. He graduated in 1992 with a double major in graphic design and photography. While at BSU, he was an active member of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, a worldwide campus ministry.
Foster and his wife Stephanie are active in Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis. Their move to an urban area of Indianapolis has enabled them to better join the church’s vision of renewal for the city by intentionally engaging the culture. God has opened many doors for them to build relationships among the neighbors with involvement in a neighborhood association and the start of a block club and crime watch. Stephanie is a music teacher at East Side Elementary School in Edinburgh, Indiana.
The Pilchers have three sons; Zachary, born in 2007; Xander, born in 2011; and Ezekiel, born in 2013.
