Bill and Nancy Kidwell

Bill and Nancy Kidwell have served with One Mission Society since 1993. Since 2016, they have been serving as church multiplication facilitators (CMFs) in Ukraine with Every Community for Christ (ECC).Their ministry consists of empowering the ECC team and church leaders to achieve their church multiplication goals through training, coaching, encouragement, and prayer support. Bill also conducts Train & Multiply (T&M) online seminars in Haiti, South Korea, and other countries as requested. Nancy’s passion is with women’s ministry and serves on the Dynamic Women in Missions training teams.

From 1993-1999, they lived in Moscow, Russia, where Bill served as church planting coordinator, liaison officer, and a professor at Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary (MECS).Bill taught theology, hermeneutics, homiletics, and supervised ministries. During 1996, he also served as interim academic dean. In 1994, Bill and Nancy planted the Balzam Evangelical Christian Church in Zelenograd, Russia. In 1998, the Balzam Church Association was organized, and Bill wrote the constitution, bylaws, and statement of faith, which later became the Good News Association of Evangelical Churches. In 1999, Bill and Nancy returned to the States where Bill served at OMS HQ in Greenwood, Indiana, as the director of International Support Ministries. In 2000, Bill and Nancy resumed pastoral duties in the United Methodist Church. As time allowed, Bill served as adjunct faculty at MECS, coordinating mission trips to Russia and working with the Good News churches in Russia.

Bill earned an M.DIV. from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1992, a B.A. from Indiana University in history in 1981, and did post-graduate studies in Christian leadership at Gordon Conwell Seminary 1997-2000. Bill and Nancy have served as a pastoral couple in the United Methodist Church since 1974. Bill was ordained as an elder in the Kentucky Annual Conference of the UMC in 2007, retiring in 2018 from the Alabama-West Florida Conference. Nancy retired in 2016 as a structural aircraft mechanic in Enterprise, Alabama.

Bill and Nancy reside in Enterprise, Alabama, along with their granddaughter, Katherine. They celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in 2019 and are blessed with three grown children and six grandchildren. Bill enjoys hunting and beekeeping while Nancy keeps busy with stained glass and gardening.
