Bill and Nancy Kidwell

Bill and Nancy began their partnership with One Mission Society in 1993, where they served in Moscow, Russia. There Bill served in the Moscow Evangelical Christian Seminary (MECS) as liaison officer; professor of theology, hermeneutics, homiletics, and supervised ministries; interim academic dean (1996); and adjunct professor. Nancy served as secretary to Dr. Alexi Bychkov, MECS President.

Bill and Nancy planted an OMS-related church in Russia, the Zelenograd Balzam Evangelical Christian Church in 1994, and in 1998, Bill wrote the first constitution, bylaws, and statement of faith, which became the foundation for the Balzam Church Association of Evangelical Churches, now known as the Blagovest Association.

Since 2016, Bill and Nancy have served as church multiplication facilitators (CMFs) for Ukraine with OMS' Every Community for Christ (ECC) ministry, empowering ECC team members and their partners to achieve their church multiplication goals through training, coaching, encouragement, and prayer support. Bill also conducts Train & Multiply (T&M) workshops both in-person and online in Haiti, South Korea, and most recently, Russia.

Besides Nancy’s responsibilities as a CMF, her passion and vision for women has led to a Dynamic Women in Missions outreach in Ukraine.

Bill is a retired, ordained minister in the United Methodist Church, earning an M.DIV. from Asbury Theological Seminary in 1992, a B.A. from Indiana University in history in 1981, and ABD doctoral studies in Christian leadership at Gordon Conwell Seminary. Nancy retired in 2016 as a structural aircraft mechanic. Bill and Nancy reside in Enterprise, Alabama. Bill enjoys hunting and beekeeping, while Nancy keeps busy with stained glass, gardening, and creating jams and preserves for the local farmers market.
