Mike and Pat Dragon

Mike and Pat Dragon serve One Mission Society’s Asia Pacific region with a focus on disciple-making, church planting and leadership development. Mike is the church multiplication director for the region, serving as overseer of training, operations, communications, and development of church multiplication facilitators in Asia. Both Pat and Mike are church multiplication facilitators for South Asia and integrate training with Dynamic Women in Missions (DWIM). Pat organizes teams and develops training to equip women to become Seed Sowers. They focus on training ministry partners to evangelize, make disciples, develop leaders, and multiply healthy churches.

Mike and Pat grew up in Terre Haute, Indiana, where they served in many leadership roles at World Gospel Church. Before joining OMS, they fostered their passion for missions through many short-term mission trips around the world. Both have completed a degree from Indiana State University (ISU).

After graduation from ISU, Mike was hired by IBM, which culminated in a successful 25-year career in various marketing and executive sales positions. His calling to OMS occurred in 2005 while serving with Men for Missions. He began serving with OMS’ Every Community for Christ (ECC) in 2007. As ECC global director (2018-2022), Mike facilitated the Global Ministries integration of ECC in June 2022, with the move to a region-centric structure of OMS.

Pat focused on raising their children and serving at church. She has been a Girl Scout leader, homeschool teacher, karate instructor, school media manager, and children’s ministry director. Pat’s desire is to encourage and equip women to discover they can use their unique talents to serve women in other countries. She has organized a movement through the training of Seed Sowers trainers in 10 countries of Africa and three in Asia.

Mike and Pat reside in Greenwood, Indiana, and attend Crosspointe Community Church. As high school sweethearts, they were married in 1973, and they have three children: a married daughter, Desiree, husband Jerry, with seven children (Jay, Anna, Xavier, Sydney, Caleb, Nathaniel, and Quentin); a son, Michael; and a married son, Andrew, wife Sandy, and their three children (Andy, Libby and Lewis).
