Cap-Haitien Christian School Construction

Cap-Haitien Christian School Construction

Cap-Haitien Christian School (formerly Cowman International School) began as a Christ-centered, English elementary school for OMS missionary kids in Vaudreuil, Haiti, in the 1960s. Over time, the Lord expanded its vision, and it has now grown to reach not only missionary kids but also children of local ministry leaders, Haitian business professionals, and government officials. Today, CHCS serves more than 180 students each year in preschool, elementary, and high school. In 2019, we graduated our first students earning a full high school diploma.

Because of this significant growth, the need for expansion is urgent. The high school building is in need of two classrooms on the second floor. The common space used for chapel and lunch needs tiling. We are hoping to finish the kitchen and science lab soon as well.

Would you prayerfully consider giving financially to support CHCS's growth? Also, consider coming to visit to help the ministry, praying for our teachers and students, sharing this need with others, or organizing your own fundraiser. Email Kacie Saint Fidor, director of CHCS for questions or ideas at kloucks@teachbeyond.org.

Please visit the school’s website at cap-haitienchristianschool.org for more information.
