Transportation for VCP Workers
Project Account: #405440
Travel in rural areas of Africa is difficult, particularly when Village Church Planters and VCP trainers must walk from their home to the church they pastor or the training center that they lead. Donations to the Transportation for VCP Workers project will make our VCP trainers and church planters much more efficient. Most VCP trainers are bivocational, and the average daily wage in rural sub-Saharan Africa ranges from $5 to $7 per day. Cost of a bicycle is about $130.
Further, many national VCP coordinators (who typically oversee and visit as many as 10 training centers) would greatly benefit from a motorcycle. Cost of a decent motorcycle is approximately $1,700.
Donations to this project will help us provide bicycles for trainers and motorcycles for VCP coordinators.
