Bunk Beds For Indian Children
Project Account: #408394Our ministry partners in India, the Evangelical Church of India, reach out to several unreached people groups throughout India.
One group, the Malto tribal people, has been especially receptive to the Gospel. Since 2005, ECI has been sharing the Good News and planting churches, as well as educating the children. They started four residential schools and two daycare centers. One school, Chappa Mission School, lies on the banks of the river, surrounded by thick forest, with many leeches, scorpions, snakes, and harmful insects nearby. Even though these children are used to this lifestyle, we do not want them sleeping on the floor, especially in the winter.
OMS desires to provide 100 bunk beds to accommodate the 200 children at the school. Your gift of $150 will purchase one bunk bed.
