Help advance God's Kingdom through the Village Church Planting (VCP) ministry by gathering stories, reports, prayer requests, and statistics from across Africa and sharing them with churches, partners, and donors. This is a chance to use your gifts for storytelling and relationship-building to help others see and pray over what God is doing on the ground. We're looking for someone who brings heart as well as skill to this work.


Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • Persevering faith expressed through prayer and obedience to Christ.
  • Experience in using mass email marketing and prayer tools.
  • Familiarity with WhatsApp and other group messaging software.
  • Ability to write stories incorporating text, photos, videos, and statistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Travel to Africa 1-2 times per year to visit training centers and regional leaders.
  • Pray earnestly for the fulfillment of the VCP vision of a church in every village in Africa by 2050.
  • Report with narratives and statistics the results of training and coaching.
  • Send weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and prayer requests to churches, individuals, partners, and donors.
  • Develop and write a printed impact report.
  • Collaborate with the OMS USA Mission Advancement Team to development fundraising strategies for VCP.
  • Write grants to help fund the work of VCP.
  • Other reports as indicated by the Supervisor.
Additional Notes:
  • This role is US-based, but involves traveling to Africa 1-2 times a year.
  • This is a fund-raised position to cover salary and travel expenses.
