Melinda Hitt

In 2009, I went on my first mission trip to Honduras when I felt my calling to serve in missions. Since that time, I have served as a short-term leader for multiple teams to Honduras. I feel God has equipped me in preparing and training teams, speaking at church mission conferences, evangelism, coaching, promoting mission strategies, mentoring, and discipling women.

In my role as a Dynamic Women in Missions network representative, I will continue to serve in this capacity with One Mission Society in Latin America. I will be engaging churches in my area to strengthen and expand their short-term mission ministries. This will include promoting Dynamic Women in Missions trips, speaking at conferences, and training churches and members for cross-cultural ministries.

Dynamic Women in Missions engages, empowers, and mobilizes women around the globe. My goal is to train women in biblical leadership skills for global church planting. I’m looking forward to leading a minimum of four trips a year. In the United States, I’ll help grow the Dynamic Women in Missions team through multi-generational women, in the hope of bringing women together through the love of Christ. I will strive to bring the message of healing and freedom through God’s Word, empowering women with skills to be disciple-makers and kingdom builders wherever they go.
