Nancy Fassnacht
Missionary Account: #802772Nancy, who has lived in northwest Pennsylvania most of her life, serves as the Northeast regional director for One Mission Society’s Church Partners ministry.
In this role, she partners with churches to help them build their missional engagement in order to fulfill their Great Commission call.
Prior to accepting this position with OMS, she was the director of missional engagement for her local church, where she enjoyed connecting her church with the least and the lost in her community.
She currently serves as missions chair in her church, as well as task force chair for ministry to marginalized populations for the WPA WCA.
When her now three grown boys were young, she was the director of Mother’s Day Out preschool and loved teaching the kids about Jesus’ love for them. After returning to school in middle adulthood, she worked in various hospitals in her region and used that experience to travel to Honduras on medical mission trips. Her creative side led her to open a vintage, local artisan shop for several years in Punxsutawney, PA, home of Punxsy Phil, the famous weather predicting groundhog.
As God has taken her various experiences and woven them together, she will be working with the church partner team to offer missional strategic planning and caring for global missionary workshops. She will also co-lead monthly cohorts to enable others to share and grow in missions and lead vision trips with church leaders interested in developing a reach in needed areas of the world.
