David serves as a church multiplication facilitator (CMF) for countries in Africa’s Sahel region. In this role, he works closely with the Village Church Planting (VCP) supervisor, who oversees the VCP work in the region. David supports the supervisor with vision-casting, comprehensive training, and coaching for national church trainers and church planters. In addition to traveling to Africa several times a year, he will maintain frequent remote communication throughout the year.

He attended Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, where he received an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and became a professional engineer licensed in Indiana. Later, he attended the University of Indianapolis, where he received a master’s degree in business administration. After retiring from Rolls-Royce Corporation, where he worked on several multinational assignments, David entered and completed a multi-year leadership development program with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. He has served in several lay member capacities with the Alliance at two Alliance churches. He currently serves as an elder at Eagle Alliance Church in Whitestown, Indiana.

David’s passion is to actively advance Christ’s kingdom among unreached people. He is excited to help fulfill the Great Commission by training and discipling the next generation of pastors who will plant churches among unreached people in Africa. He hopes to share his experiences in Africa with young and old alike back in the United States to encourage others to be bold in living out their faith in Jesus.

He and Linda were married in 1983 and have two adult children and five grandchildren. Linda worked as a registered nurse for many years until she retired to care for her aging father. They both enjoy volunteering at either their church or their grandkids' Christian school. They also enjoy traveling, reading, and staying active through walking and bicycling.
