Angie Bailey

Angie Bailey serves as the event coordinator at the OMS World Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. She plans and executes events, including Board meetings, OMS conferences, President’s Gathering, and more. Angie feels passionate about making each event that she plans as special and as honoring as it can be. 

Angie was born and raised in a Christian home and attended church regularly. She accepted Christ as her Savior in Sunday school at the age of 4. She grew up in church simply “going through the motions,” doing what she was “supposed” to do. All the while, feeling disconnected somehow. 

Then at age 17, God took a hold of her life. She realized that she could have a real relationship with Jesus. She was his daughter, and he loved her. That changed her world. She became whole, and she began truly serving the Lord. 

She attended Vincennes University, and while there, she met her future husband. They married and began serving the Lord together. God was guiding their lives. They served in many capacities, and her husband was the youth pastor. 

Angie then went through many difficult years that challenged her trust and her relationship with Christ, but he never left her. God’s grace carried her through a divorce and then a new husband three years later, who died after13 years of marriage. But God is faithful. 

She is a mom of four girls and a Lolli (aka grandma) to eight. She feels very blessed.

God has led all the way, and that path took her from teaching to serving at OMS. God has fueled a love for missions and planning events that honor Christ and further his cause of spreading the Gospel throughout the world.
