Training Solutions Intern

The Training Solutions Intern will have the opportunity to see firsthand the role that training plays in sending and sustaining our One Mission Society Missionaries. As an intern you will have the opportunity to assist in creating, updating, and executing various training processes for our global missionaries as well as be introduced to a developmental model for personal spiritual formation and disciple-making.

• Assisting with intake of requests for training solutions from OMS departments, fields/regions, signatories, or OMS global partners.
• Participating in discussions to assess training needs and develop projects to meet those needs.
• Participating in project teams to design, develop, and deliver training solutions of various kinds.
• Assisting in the evaluation of the effectiveness of OMS training programs, events, and materials.
• Assisting in the administration of OMS learning technology platforms (OMS Online Learning LMS and the Training Portal and Learning Hub of the OMS Intranet).
• Assisting with logistical support for live and virtual training events and backend technical production support.
• Assisting with evaluation of OMS training engagement and effectiveness.
• Assisting with migration of OMS-produced training into the online warehouse.
• Assisting with an audit of coaching training achieved by OMS Global personnel.

• Detail oriented
• Must know basics of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Beneficial to know Zoom, Teams, SharePoint, SharePoint sites, and how online learning platforms work
• Preference will be given to those with interests in the areas of instructional and graphic design, leader development, and cross-cultural studies.

Optional: Short-term Mission Trip

Interns have the option to take a short-term mission trip during their paid internship. This is an incredible opportunity to visit an OMS field and serve alongside an OMS missionary team for 7-10 days. Expenses for this trip must be raised by the intern; this trip is not paid for by One Mission Society.
