The Finance team plays a critical role in supporting missionaries and projects around the world so that people can be transformed by a relationship with Jesus. Join the finance team as a summer intern to assist with projects as well as day-to-day tasks. You'll come away with a better knowledge of finances in a nonprofit, missions-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Assisting CFO and Controller with reports.
- Filing, scanning, stuffing envelopes, working with data in Excel, opening mail, and various other tasks.
- Working with various finance team members to understand the complexities of what the finance department does.
- Communicating with missionaries regarding finance related issues.
- Assist with various projects.
- Assist with recording donations and department expenses.
- Detail oriented
- Accounting / finance student in their 3rd year of college
- Self-starter
- Dates: May 19 - July 15, 2025
- Location: OMS Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana
- Hours per week: 40
- Compensation: $10 an hour
- Housing: Included at OMS Headquarters
- Application deadline: January 15, 2025
Interns have the option to take a short-term mission trip to Colombia during their paid internship. This is an incredible opportunity to visit an OMS field and serve alongside an OMS missionary team for 7-10 days. Expenses for this trip must be raised by the intern; this trip is not paid for by One Mission Society.
