• Train a Church Planter

What might happen if we could mobilize ordinary people to go into the great harvest fields at our doorsteps and start church multiplication movements? Last year, ordinary people did an extraordinary thing. They started more than 20,000 worshiping groups! They did this by being empowered by the Holy Spirit and equipped with a simple tool – Train & Multiply (T&M). By 2020, our goal is to start 414,000 new worshiping groups with the use of T&M.

Ordinary people can do extraordinary things when they are empowered by the Holy Spirit and equipped with the right tools. T&M is a powerful tool to help ordinary people do this; it is a process to help ordinary people start healthy worshiping groups that will multiply. The founder of T&M discovered a simple but powerful paradigm modeled by Jesus and taught by Paul:

And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others (2 Timothy 2:2 NIV).

    This paradigm is to:

    • Take the training to ordinary, mature believers already involved in ministry.
    • Break down the material into simple, easy-to-understand training booklets.
    • Introduce booklets when the believer needs them in their ministry.
    • Coach them on how to implement the material.
    • Teach them how to use this same process with mature believers in other communities.

T&M is available in 40 languages. We recently finished an extensive update of English T&M materials that will form the basis of the 4th edition of Train & Multiply. Current languages are being updated, and new languages are being started monthly.

Funding for T&M provides needed materials and translation fees. There is no cost to users for materials, so all revenue for further production comes strictly through your donations.
