UPDATE: As of today, 9/10, I am fully funded! Thank you to everyone who partnered with me financially. I am so excited for the ways God will use me and this trip to glorify Himself and minister to our sisters across the ocean, and that would not be possible without you all.
This is my fourth trip with DWIM, but my first trip to Africa, and I’m excited to connect with the woman on the Seed Sowers team as well as my sisters in Christ in Liberia. I have been so blessed and grown by my previous trips, and I can’t wait to see what new things God teaches me about Himself, as well as expanding my relationships here on earth with my heavenly family. I know God will do incredible things in my life, my team members’ lives, and the lives of the women we serve, but we need prayer and financial partnerships from friends and family like you.
What is Seed Sowers?
Seed Sowers is a training that empowers women to live rooted in their identity in Christ and make intentional and relational connections with friends, family, and neighbors. The training is divided into 8 sessions, which include topics like:
Women of the Bible - who they were, how God used them, and how He's still using women today.
Who we are in Christ - we're told a lot of lies about our identity by our culture, but the Bible has truth that sets us free!
Sharing our testimony in 15-30 seconds - God's not only saved us for eternity, He's also sanctified us. Those moments of growth can serve as a connection with those around us, connections that can lead them to Christ.
The Three Circles - an easy and memorable method for sharing the Gospel that starts from a place everyone can agree on - that the world is broken.
An easy Bible study method - a way to connect with others while discovering what the Bible says, and all you have to do is read some questions and facilitate conversation!
Putting on the armor of God - we might not gear up for battle like we used to, but the protection Paul outlines isn't theoretical. It helps us in day-to-day life, but we have to know how to use it.
