Danny and Gerrilee Lacy

Danny and Gerrilee Lacy began their missionary journey with One Mission Society in 1977.

Woodstock School in India was their first stop where, Danny taught in the elementary school and Gerrilee used her nursing skills to assist with rural health clinics and the local hospital.

1985 found them, and their three sons, shifting to Morrison Academy in Taichung, Taiwan. Danny’s teaching skills continued to meet the educational needs of children while Gerrilee worked tirelessly to assist the large missionary team with her generous hospitality while caring daily for the boys.

In 1990, they moved to Manila, Philippines, and began ministering at Faith Academy. Along with teaching responsibilities, they assisted in starting a church called Seeds of Faith. God honored their prayers.

In 1998, they moved to Spring Arbor, Michigan, where Gerrilee worked on another degree at Spring Arbor University. Upon completion in 2000, the university asked Gerrilee to become the primary nurse of their health center. She accepted, and Danny began working with the OMS Development Department. For more than a decade, they have continued ministering through summer conversational English programs in Asia. With merry hearts, they continue to touch lives wherever God opens a door.
