Alecia Bonson

Alecia will be living out the Great Commission in Japan. She was working as a primary school teacher in a small international Christian school in Tokyo when she saw the great spiritual need of Japan illustrated in her students' hunger and enthusiasm for Jesus.

While her work at the school was one kind of mission work in itself, Alecia couldn't help but think about the students' parents and others who weren't walking into a Christian space five days a week and statistically would never. She felt called to switch to being a full-time traditional missionary so that more people in Japan would know of his love and freedom from shame and spiritual oppression.

Initially, she will work on building her Japanese skills so she can most effectively communicate with others in their heart language.

Please pray that Alecia would be absolutely obedient and centered on God's will, and pray that God would prepare the hearts of the people who need to hear of his salvation.
