Glenn and Pam Moon
Missionary Account: #801753Glenn and Pam Moon began working at the world headquarters of One Mission Society in Greenwood, Indiana, in September of 1992. Glenn gives leadership in the Information Technology department. This involves overseeing the headquarters network, servers, and workstations. He writes software for mission specific applications including an accounting system used on all of the OMS fields. Pam assists in the OMS kitchen, preparing meals for board meetings. With an associate degree in electrical engineering and a minor in computer science, Glenn worked with a business machine company for 13 years. Pam's background includes catering and preparing meals for large groups. Through involvement in their local church in Pennsylvania, where they both taught Sunday school, Glenn and Pam became involved in missions outreach projects. After participating in several overseas mission crusades, the Moons spent the summer of 1988 in Spain working at the OMS camp, where Glenn directed maintenance and Pam served as head cook. That summer confirmed their desire to become career missionaries. The Moons have three grown children - Melissa, Scott, and Timothy. One Mission Society is an evangelical, interdenominational faith mission that makes disciples of Jesus Christ through intentional evangelism, planting churches and training national leaders in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe and Latin America. OMS then joins with those churches in global partnerships to reach the rest of the world.
