Anna Long

Anna Long serves with the One Mission Society team in Hungary, with her primary role being a speech therapist at the International Christian School of Budapest (ICSB). Her desire is to serve missionary families who otherwise might feel torn between their calling and providing their children the special services they need to excel in school. She invests in the academic and spiritual well-being of children through her role at ICSB and in summer English camps. She also seeks to invest in Hungarians by serving in the children’s ministry and on the worship team in her Hungarian church.

Raised as an OMS missionary kid in Hong Kong, Anna is thrilled to join the One Mission Society family as a missionary herself. God placed a heart for missions in Anna as a teenager, but when it came time to pursue a degree that could lead her to the mission field, God clearly pointed her toward a degree in speech therapy. Anna went on to get her master’s in communication sciences and disorders at the University of Kentucky but continued to wonder how God would reconcile her heart for missions with the profession he called her to. God opened that door in early 2017 when ICSB contacted Anna, looking for a speech therapist!
