Do you have a passion for connecting with young people through camp ministry? In Hungary, you will work with our community impact team by implementing all facets of our summer English camps, including preparation, teaching, and leading conversation groups. You will also participate in general ministry as you host foreign volunteer teams and work with our partner churches to complete assigned work projects.
During your time with Embark you will serve with One Mission Society, build relationships with youth and young adults, receive mentorship from experienced missionaries, work alongside a team of other like-minded OMS interns, expand and hone your skill set, and grow in your ministry approach to evangelism, discipleship, and communicating your testimony.

Responsibilities:
- Be able to have fun with teenagers and build rapport.
- Help plan, teach, and lead English lessons and activities (TESOL).
- Assist students during study times and exercises.
- Lead an English conversation group using pre-designed materials and flexible formats.
- Be willing to share your testimony and beliefs in an honest and friendly way.
- Help with hosting volunteers and guests.
- Have the ability to work long and physically demanding days during camps.
- Must be willing to participate in several Zoom calls prior to trip to discuss expectations and process.
- High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
- Willingness to find common ground with people despite language barriers and cultural differences
- Comfortable sharing and talking with new acquaintances
- Able to relax and have fun in varied environments
- Have some knowledge and experience working in summer camps
- You will be serving from early-June to early-August.
- You will live in Budapest, a beautiful European city along the Danube River.
- You will participate in camps in small cities and villages in Hungary.
- Cost will be $5705.00 (not including travel expenses).
- This is a volunteer internship that requires raising financial support through ministry partners.
