Yoder Memorial Scholarship
Project Account: #404650The Yoder Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Wally and Marilyn Yoder to assist and encourage first-time, short-term volunteers by helping cover their travel expenses and mission-related costs. In honoring the wishes of Wally and Marilyn, we are committed to using these funds in the same spirit and purpose with which they were given. The Yoders often reflected on their first short-term mission trip to Haiti and the lasting impact it had on their lives and their family. Wally frequently shared how that experience transformed his outlook on life and purpose, an experience after which he was never the same. For Wally and Marilyn, that first trip was truly a “Life-Changing Journey.” It became the first of many missions that took them around the world, each one deepening their conviction to:
Do whatever God asks you to do,
Go wherever God asks you to go,
Give whatever God asks you to give.
In that same spirit, we are honored to offer $100 scholarships to individuals participating in their first “Life-Changing Journey” with a Men for Missions work, prayer, medical, or evangelism team. It is our heartfelt desire and prayer that God will use your first mission field experience to begin your own life-changing journey.
