• Jacqui Shatto

In November 2016, Jacqui Shatto traveled to Israel as a member of a prayer team with Dynamic Women in Missions (DWIM), a ministry of One Mission Society. Her life was truly changed in Israel as she felt called to pray for those who do not know Jesus as their Savior and Messiah. Her call to prayer and intercession combined with the experience God provided in Israel led her to become the international prayer coordinator for Dynamic Women in Missions as an OMS missionary in August of 2017.

As the international prayer coordinator for DWIM, Jacqui seeks to bring glory to God by providing ongoing earnest prayer support for the DWIM ministry teams and staff. She leads and nurtures members of DWIM international prayer teams and writes the daily devotions and prayers for Dynamic Women as part of their outreach to help women discover their identity in Christ. Jacqui feels incredibly blessed to be part of this inspiring ministry and is excited to recruit other women to join the Dynamic teams and praise God as he changes their lives!

Jacqui also leads prayer teams to Israel. She teaches and guides women in prayer, leading them into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. She travels with the DWIM medical teams, leading a small prayer team within the larger team to keep Christ at the center of all the DWIM teams.

Jacqui is blessed to have the full support of her husband, Jeff, and their adult children, Renée (David) and granddaughter Claire, Kyle (Val), Aimee, and Eric (Mackenzie), in this ministry. She has been a member of the Every Community for Christ (ECC) prayer teams since 2000, when she met an OMS prayer warrior missionary who became her prayer mentor. She has served in prayer with the ECC prayer coordinator, who was also part of the 2016 Israel prayer team. She is blessed by the encouragement of Sam Downey, the director of DWIM, and is grateful for the opportunity God is providing for her to work with sisters in Christ in this ministry. She and her husband are members of Center UMC in Indianapolis.
