Do you have a passion for involvement in a great church planting movement?
DAWN 2033, a nationwide church planting movement in the Philippines, is working toward a "transformed nation with disciple-making churches for everyone, everywhere." You will work alongside our Every Community for Christ Philippines (ECC PH) workers and volunteers as they come alongside churches and church networks to train and coach them in multiplying disciples, churches, and leaders.
During your time with Embark, you will serve with ECC PH, a part of One Mission Society. Your experience will be designed to fit with your passion, desires, and giftings. You will grow in your evangelism and disciple-making skills. You will grow deeper in your walk with the LORD. You will help others grow in their walk with the LORD. You will be coached by experienced, mature workers and participate in a discipleship band.
Depending on your interests, you could:

Depending on your interests, you could:
- Work with mapping teams identifying unchurched areas in the provinces
- Participate in an immersion experience in an urban poor community
- Help with evangelism and discovery Bible studies in church outreaches
- Help/participate in training experiences in the areas of coaching, disciple-making, and church planting
- Be willing to share your testimony and beliefs in an honest and friendly way
- Enjoy building rapport and close relationships with Filipino friends in Christ as well as with non-believers in Christ
- Experience a culture different from yours
- Develop in the use of various spiritual disciplines
- Begin to learn some basic Tagalog
- Work in ministry with indigenous people in the mountain tribes
Skills:
- Willingness to find common ground with people despite cultural differences
- Comfortable sharing and talking with new acquaintances
- Willingness to learn and grow in the areas of calling, character, competency, community, and your
walk with Christ - Enjoyment in working on a team (or teams) and helping build good team relationships and dynamics
- Able to relax and have fun in various environments
- Experience as a servant leader
Important Details:
- You will be based in the Tarlac City area of the Philippines. Ministry may take place throughout the 18 provinces where ECC PH workers serve.
- There is availability for 8-week internships. However, we can accommodate longer internships if needed. Let us know your preferred internship duration, and we can discuss options.
- The first 30 days for US citizens are free with no visa required. After 30 days, you need to go to the Bureau of Immigration to get an extension at an additional cost.
- English is understood and often spoken by Filipinos.
- You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of Filipino cultural experiences.
- This is a volunteer internship that requires raising financial support through ministry partners.
