The Marketing and Communications Department at One Mission Society creates compelling content to showcase how Jesus Christ is changing lives around the world through OMS missionaries and ministries. As the social media intern, you’ll create and maintain social media to inform and inspire individuals to be more deeply involved in the Great Commission.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other team members to update and maintain OMS social media platforms with new content, as well as analyze OMS metrics.
- Develop visual collateral material through written and visual storytelling for posting on digital platforms.
- Assist in gathering and creating content as needed for OMS 125th Anniversary Celebration.
- Committed follower of Jesus Christ
- Going into junior or senior year of college, or post-graduate student
- Background, training, and experience in communications, digital media, media technology or related fields
- Experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter (X), You Tube, etc.
- Excellent visual communications skills, desire to learn, and flexible
- Accustomed to working within deadlines
- Dates: May 18 - July 24, 2026
- Location: OMS Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana
- Hours per week: 40
- Compensation: $10 an hour
- Housing: Included at OMS Headquarters

Interns have the option to take a short-term mission trip during their paid internship. This is an incredible opportunity to visit an OMS field and serve alongside an OMS missionary team for 7-10 days. Expenses for this trip must be raised by the intern; this trip is not paid for by One Mission Society.
