The Global Member Care Director will provide vision, leadership, and administrative oversight for member care at One Mission Society (OMS) and will lead and strengthen the program by promoting a proactive, preventive, and responsive approach to member care. The director encourages, consults, and supports field directors, regional directors, and other organizational leaders from a Christ-centered and holistic approach. This position is responsible to equip the Member Care team to strengthen missionaries, their families, and teams to flourish in Christ and faithfully advance God's mission through healthy, sustainable life and ministry.
Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:

- Master's degree required in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
- Formal training or coursework in member care, counseling, trauma-informed care, pastoral care, or a related discipline (may be obtained after hire)
- Prior cross-cultural missionary experience strongly preferred, with the ability to provide mission-informed care and leadership
- Demonstrated understanding of adult development, family systems, cross-cultural living, and the unique challenges of missionary life
- Prior experience providing counseling, coaching, member care, or pastoral care in cross-cultural ministry settings
- Experience leading, developing, and supervising teams
- Experience partnering with organizational leaders to strengthen the health and effectiveness of individuals, families, and teams
- Leadership development or executive coaching training preferred
- Commitment to the mission, values, and statement of faith of One Mission Society
Required Training and Certifications Related to Member Care: The following training and certifications are required. Candidates who do not already possess all qualifications may complete designated training within their first year of service, as approved by the Director's supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide vision, leadership, and administrative oversight for the One Mission Society Member Care program.
- Champion a culture of proactive, preventive, and responsive member care throughout the organization.
- Lead, supervise, develop, and equip the Member Care team to provide Christ-centered care for missionaries, their families, and organizational leaders.
- Strengthen and advance the Member Care program through strategic planning, policy development, measurable standards, program evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Provide ongoing care, consultation, encouragement, and coaching to field directors, regional directors, and other organizational leaders.
- Partner with field and regional leadership to promote the spiritual, emotional, relational, and vocational health of missionaries, families, and teams.
- Ensure appropriate crisis response, debriefing, consultation, referral processes, and ethical standards throughout the organization.
- Oversee the development and delivery of member care training, orientation, and resources for missionaries, leaders, Member Care Specialists, and other personnel.
- Foster collaboration among Member Care, field leadership, TCK care, and other organizational departments to provide coordinated, holistic care.
- Provide consultation for complex member care situations and facilitate referrals to qualified professional services when appropriate.
- Conduct field visits, leadership consultations, and member care assessments as appropriate.
- Develop and steward member care resources and the Member Care budget. Maintain appropriate documentation while upholding confidentiality, professional ethics, and organizational policies.
- Participate in leadership meetings, organizational initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
- This is a role that requires raising support for salary and related expenses.
- This is a full-time role.
- This role can be done remotely, but requires occasional meetings at OMS Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana.
