Interested in learning about and preserving history?
Serve as an intern at OMS by working to preserve, organize, and document the One Mission Society archives. We're looking for an organized and motivated intern to help reorganize our archive system and document / use best practices.
The OMS internship program is carefully designed to deepen your understanding of God’s heart for the nations and how we can make a lasting impact on the world through Christ. We are seeking Christ-centered individuals who are eager to use their God-given gifts, grow in their faith, and make Jesus known among the nations.
Job Responsibilities:
Serve as an intern at OMS by working to preserve, organize, and document the One Mission Society archives. We're looking for an organized and motivated intern to help reorganize our archive system and document / use best practices.

Job Responsibilities:
- Help reorganize the OMS Archives
- Research other nonprofit organizations’ archives and document best practices
- Potentially research and write about OMS historical events
- Scan and organize OMS photos (missionaries, ministries, fields)
- Visit the archives of 3-5 organizations or schools, if possible
- Attend an archives-related workshop (online or in-person), if possible
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products
- Good organizational skills
- Basic skill in scanning documents and photos
- Interest in history related to missions
- Desire to work in an archives
- Preferred junior or senior studying history, library science, or museum studies

- Dates: May 17 - July 23, 2027
- Location: OMS Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana
- Hours per week: 40
- Compensation: $10 an hour
- Housing: Included at OMS Headquarters
- Application deadline: January 15, 2027
Optional: Short-term Mission Trip
Interns have the option to take a short-term mission trip during their paid internship. This is an incredible opportunity to visit an OMS field and serve alongside an OMS missionary team for 7-10 days. Expenses for this trip must be raised by the intern; this trip is not paid for by One Mission Society.
