We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist who is passionate about missions and skilled at crafting engaging, on-trend content that amplifies our message across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and emerging platforms.

You’ll be part of a mission-driven team committed to sharing stories that show God’s work throughout the nations. We value creativity, collaboration, and innovation—and we’re looking for someone who wants their work to make a real impact.



What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute creative social media strategies that reflect OMS’s mission and values.
  • Create meaningful, visually compelling content—short-form videos, carousels, and platform-native posts.
  • Maintain a consistent voice and aesthetic across all channels.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to shape strategy and campaigns.
  • Engage with followers and ministry partners to foster authentic community.
  • Manage scheduling and posting across platforms, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.
  • Stay ahead of trends, algorithms, and best practices to drive growth and engagement.

  • Clear and effective oral and written communication
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Proven strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively within a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency in video-specific social media content creation (Shorts, Reels, TikToks, and similar formats)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube)


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or professional experience that would be equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in social media content creation and strategy.
  • Proven ability to create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube—using short-form video, carousels, and other platform-specific formats.
  • Strong grasp of trends, algorithms, and strategies that drive audience engagement.
  • Skilled at turning existing photo and video assets into fresh, compelling ideas.
  • Passionate about marketing that matters and storytelling that connects.


Other Details

  • This position is based at our Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana.
  • This position is fully paid by One Mission Society and does not require raising financial support.
  • Pay Range: $55,000-60,000
