Join us on an upcoming trip to Medellín, Colombia!
This trip more than a travel experience. It's a chance to walk alongside local believers, share the Gospel, and witness the transformative work of ministry in action. From vibrant worship to hands-on outreach, each day is designed to deepen your understanding of God's global mission.
You'll have the opportunity to engage in evangelism ministry with the field and local church, join our local prison ministry partners as they visit a local prison, and learn more about what God is doing in the OMS Colombia field.
This trip is a unique opportunity to serve, learn, and grow in faith. Whether you're sharing your testimony, praying over a city, or simply listening to the stories of others, your presence matters. We’re excited to see how God will use this time to deepen relationships and expand His Kingdom.

TRIP SCHEDULE
March 21 - Travel Day and Arrival
Expect a full to half-day of travel, depending on your flight schedule. Your group will be staying on the historic Biblical Seminary campus, where you will experience a lovely view of the city and a personal connection to the history and purpose of seminary life.
March 22- Worship and Connect!
You will join a Colombian church service, meet ministry partners, learn about the history between OMS and the denomination, and be introduced before the congregation. The next stop will be a visit to a historic Pueblito Paisa with a 360-degree view near the center of Medellin. Prepare your taste buds for a traditional Colombian lunch while you take in the Paisa culture. Enjoy spending time with OMS staff and getting to know more about the ministry.
March 23 & 24 - Evangelism Day (2 full days)
Engage with a local church looking for growth and discipleship opportunities as they reach out to their community by sharing the Gospel with the locals in different neighborhoods. You will learn how to use an “evangecube” to tell the story of Jesus and share your personal testimony in practical ways as you help the church reach their community. A local church member and a translator will accompany you.
March 25 - Prison Ministry Day
Engage in prison ministry with our ministry partners. You will learn how the prison ministry is happening daily and have a firsthand look at the ways the lives of prisoners have been radically changed by the Gospel. You will meet ministry teams who diligently work as volunteers to ensure that every cellblock has the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. You might be presented as a group and may be asked to share your testimony through translation if time permits. Be ready!
March 26 - Ministry Exploration Day
You will meet and learn about our ministry partners who are serving through local denominations, outreach ministries, and the Bible Seminary. Some of those partners are prison fellowships (CCC and ACCA), local churches (Igleico Iglesia Interamericana or La Confra Iglesia Cristiana Confraternidad), Satura Colombia, and the Biblical Seminary of Colombia.
March 27 - Cultural Day
You will be guided through the city with opportunities to learn about Colombian culture, food, crafts, and local transportation methods so that you can better understand Colombian living. You are invited to pray over the city as you go and interact with the locals as appropriate. You are invited to debrief with our missionaries and your team as you wrap up your experience together.
