Duane Brown
Duane serves as the vice president of USA Church Partners at the One Mission Society World Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. In that role, he leads a team that guides churches and OMS into partnerships that add mutual value. Previously, he served with a sister mission agency in Atlanta, Georgia, in a similar role.
Born and raised in Corinth, New York, Duane relocated to New Brunswick, Canada, in 1985 to study for ministry at Kingswood University. Upon graduation, he moved to Nova Scotia and served 12 years as an ordained pastor and church planter in the Wesleyan Church of Canada. Six of those years he served among the Acadians. While in Canada, he met and married Patty, who was raised in New Brunswick, Canada. Duane and Patty have three Canadian-born young adult children, Eric, Kathryn, and Elizabeth. Duane also worked as a business analyst/project manager with a large Canadian company. In 2009, Duane received a PhD from Asbury Theological Seminary, where he also serves as an adjunct professor.
