Regional Finance Coordinator- Regional Hub

The mission of the Regional Finance Coordinator is to support teams within the region by providing financial expertise and management.  

Responsibilities- 
  • Supervise the work of Field Treasurers and/or Regional Treasurer within the region. 
  • In coordination with the Field Treasurers, assist with bookkeeping, banking and processing of expense reports as necessary. 
  • Work with the Regional Director and various Field Directors in preparing and executing written budgets. 
  • Ensure that all expenditures are within the OMS policies and procedures. 
  • Ensure that all taxes and government obligations are paid on time. 
  • Perform periodic audits for OMS related finances. 
  • Provide oversight and support for field treasurers. 
  • Monitor financial situations within the region. 
  • Advise Regional Directors on financial issues within the region. 

Skills and Education- 

  • Accounting degree or equivalent experience (required) 
  • Experience in multi-currency finances (desired) 
  • Ability to work and communicate with people from a variety of backgrounds, both financial and non-financial. 
  • CPA license or equivalent is a plus. 
  • Able to understand, present, and complete complex financial transactions. 
  • Able to create and understand basic financial statements and reports. 
  • Able to develop and manage multiple budgets. 
  • Able to learn the local language to an intermediate level. 

This is a support based position that involves raising financial support through ministry partners for salary and other expenses.
