Steward the physical assets (building, grounds) along with the people and financial resources used to maintain the physical assets. As the primary steward of the Greenwood headquarters physical assets, the Facilities Manager works and communicates with many people inside and outside the organization. 


  • Maintain all physical assets, including buildings, grounds and vehicles
  • Oversee the cleaning of the office buildings
  • Manage multi-phase, multi-trade projects
  • Repair/replace equipment and assets
  • Manage and plan the schedule/jobs of maintenance personnel and volunteers
  • Manage the maintenance budget
  • Coordinate work teams with the help of a small assembled team
  • Maintain compliance with local, state and national regulations (e.g., building codes, OSHA compliance, etc.)
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment and supplies
  • Maintain office buildings, all campus housing and grounds
  • Respond to emergencies in a timely manner (may require some work on holidays, weekend, and nights)
  • Maintain purchasing accounts and purchase supplies and equipment as needed
  • Set and manage a preventative maintenance schedule for OMS facilities
  • Schedule outside vendors when necessary and collect Certificates of Insurance and W9’s from these vendors

Requirements for This Role
  • Must be knowledgeable and have basic skills in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, mechanical and general construction work
  • Ability to operate a variety of construction and landscaping equipment
  • Ability to start and complete a residential remodel and/or manage the project through other groups/laborers
  • Solid communication skills required
  • Experience in supervising others required
  • Previous construction experience required
  • Must be self-motivated and have ability to work independently
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Basic computer skills and capabilities with Microsoft Office

  • Based in Greenwood, IN
  • This is a full-time role
  • 5% of hours may be outside of normal business hours (weekends, holidays, nights) 
This position is fully paid by One Mission Society and does not require raising financial support.
