Church Multiplication Coordinator- Regional Hub

One Mission Society has a vision to see church multiplication movements in every country where we serve leading to the making of disciples, development of leaders, and the sending of new church planters and missionaries. In order to accomplish this vision, the Church Multiplication Coordinator, working with and leading a Church Multiplication team, will steward the conditions that the Holy Spirit uses to start, expand, and sustain movements of healthy, reproducing communities of faith. 

  • Lead a team of national and international church planters to plant and multiply new churches.
  • Coach and support team members, coming alongside them to help them grow toward the end goal of reproducing new churches.
  • Foster a culture of community and team.
  • Foster a culture of outreach and multiplication of disciples and churches.
  • Work with field leaders and national leaders to identify opportunities to start new fellowships of believers and churches.
  • Train team members and national workers in church planting methods and practices.
  • Work with Regional director and Global ministry support team to promote best practices for church planting, identify useful training and ministry tools and identify the most suitable methods for church planting.
  • Assist in setting and executing budgets.
  • Report required metrics and provide financial reports giving accountability for funds received.
  • Support other ministry events as necessary through volunteering and/or support.
  • Weave the compassion of Christ into all tasks. 

Skills and Education-

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree in theology or church planting (preferred) 
  • Experience in church planting (preferred)
  • Familiarity with church planting and multiplication methods and movements
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to relate well to multiple stakeholders and people from different cultures in order to work as a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable sharing Christ and talking to people about Jesus
  • Ability to cast vision and inspire others and identify best practices for church planting and multiplication in a country 
  • Strong leadership skills and past experience leading others 
  • Teachability and a desire to learn  
  • Demonstrated past experience in starting new ventures 
  • Ability to set long term goals and help others reach them through short-term processes and strategies 

This is a support based position that involves raising financial support through ministry partners for salary and other expenses.
