Aimee Howarth

Aimee Howarth grew up California and received her bachelor of science in English and education from the University of Miami in Florida. After wholly surrendering her life to Christ in 2001, God called her to serve him in Africa.

From 2002-2004, she served as a teacher at Christian Academy in Mozambique in the province of Maputo. During Aimee’s second year there, God gave her a desire to partner with the national Mozambican church, going north of the Maputo province for evangelism, church planting, and discipleship training. To prepare for this, she returned to California in 2004 to complete a master of arts in cross-cultural studies from Fuller Theological Seminary.

In 2009, Aimee returned to Maputo, Mozambique where she worked on language and culture learning, and relationship building. She served in Mozambican women’s ministries and alongside of the pastors of the Mozambican churches for the next six years.

From 2010-2015, while living in Maputo, Aimee took monthly trips with Mozambican church leaders north to the province of Inhambane. There, she continued to learn and build relationships, while serving in evangelism, church planting, and discipleship.

In 2015, Aimee moved to the province of Inhambane, where she continues to learn, love, and serve.

By God’s Spirit and grace, Aimee is privileged to follow Christ and serve him in Mozambique, Africa.
