Megan Hendon

Megan Hendon serves as a mobilizer with One Mission Society at the World Headquarters in Greenwood, Indiana. She recruits, mentors, supports, and prepares missionary candidates as they discern how and where God is uniquely calling them. Megan is passionate about discipleship and preparing missionaries as they radically surrender their lives to Jesus. Megan loves being a sender, readying the hands, feet, mind, and heart of those who respond to Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28 to GO.

As she walks alongside missionary candidates through each step in their missions journey, she has the opportunity to pray with them, help them identify their gifts and passions, and seek the Lord’s direction with them as they discern where God could be calling them. Megan also communicates with many OMS ministry fields to see what God is doing there and what key personnel will be needed to continue moving forward.

Megan also has a unique role as the primary mobilizer for Embark, a 1-12 month cross-cultural internship program for college-aged young adults. She gets to mobilize young adults in a crucial time of their lives, helping them discern a greater call to missions and ministry, grow deeper in their walk with Christ, and experience daily residential missionary life.

Megan and her husband Jeremy have been happily married since October of 2018. They also have a puppy named Kona.
