Church Planting Facilitator Ecuador

Facilitate the planting of new churches across Ecuador to support evangelism and discipleship so that people can unite to worship and mature in faith. Successfully develop a self-sustainable, reproducing body of believers in areas that have been under-reached with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop an intentional prayer strategy for targeted area
  • Learn the culture of your assigned region
  • Build relationships in the community
  • Use evangelism and discipleship tools in line with OMS doctrine
  • Make contact with persons interested in studying the Bible and make regular home visits for follow up
  • Set up and participate in events that will be an outreach to the community
  • Train leaders that will be able to assume ongoing ministry responsibility
  • Work with Ecuadorian church associations when possible

  • Requirements
    • Previous church leadership experience
    • Biblical education/training
    • High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred
    • Functioning level Spanish (or willingness to learn)
    • Culturally sensitive, teachable, and humble
    • Solid Biblical knowledge; able to share the Gospel and biblical knowledge with others
    • Strong pastoral and organizational skills
    • Able to relate well to others
    • Self-motivated
    • Willing to travel
