• Chris and Heather Williams

Chris and Heather Williams joined One Mission Society in 2012 and have been appointed to serve God in Medellin, Colombia. The OMS-affiliated national church of Colombia has a God-sized vision of planting 20,000 worshiping communities over the next five years. Chris and Heather are truly excited to partner with them in the task of making this vision become reality.

In addition to the church-planting ministry, Chris and Heather will be connected with the Colombian church to inspire, identify and equip national believers to serve God as missionaries. They see Latin America as holding a key role in fulfilling the Great Commission. Chris and Heather recognize that the Global South is positioned to be used by God in the next great epoch of kingdom expansion. It is their desire to be part of what God is doing to reach all people groups with the Gospel and to make disciples of all the nations. Chris and Heather are passionate about mobilizing anyone that God calls to go anywhere He sends.

Chris holds a B.A. degree from the University of North Alabama, where he majored in history and minored in philosophy of religion. He earned his M.A. in world mission and evangelism from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Before coming to One Mission Society, Chris and Heather were involved in homeless ministry in Birmingham, Alabama. They also served as youth ministers and led the youth program at a local holiness camp meeting. Chris served as a pastor at Shiloh UMC and St. James UMC.
