Darren and Sherilyn Sweeney

We are Darren and Sherilyn Sweeney. We have three beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn, Emma, and Makenna. God used a short-term mission opportunity to Mozambique, Africa, in 2014, to lead our family into full-time ministry with One Mission Society. We served the students and community children in Mozambique at the Christian Academy of Mozambique and served alongside the local church. It was such a privilege to see what God is doing in his body around the world and see the passion of the believers there. 

At the end of 2017, God moved our family back to the United States and led us to join the team of HOPE61, OMS’ human trafficking prevention ministry.Darren serves as the global training manager and has had the opportunity to travel around the world, working alongside church leaders who want to work together to prevent human trafficking in their communities.

As in all of OMS' ministries, Jesus, and the Good News of his salvation to people of all nations, is the focus of HOPE61. The goal is that the information and help provided will be a catalyst for churches around the world to evangelize and disciple those who are the most vulnerable in their communities.
