• Ann and Michael Miner

Michael and Ann Miner serve as regional directors for the Northwest with Men for Missions. Men for Missions is One Mission Society’s life-changing journey, with the goal of providing opportunities for personal obedience to the Great Commission. Michael desires to motivate and encourage men and their families to use their God-given talents and abilities in world-wide, short-term mission opportunities. These teams include work teams, medical and disaster relief teams, evangelism teams, intercessory prayer teams and teams of professionals who are prepared to teach. Michael is passionate about seeing men reach beyond their normal life routine, following God in obedience to do, give and go as God directs. Acting as a link between the tangible needs overseas and the willing hearts and hands of layman in the Northwest, Michael and Ann believe that God will use his people to build and strengthen his kingdom around the world.

Michael was first introduced to overseas missions when he worked in Brazil the summer of 1990 with Intervarsity. His desire to return was fulfilled in 2008 when the family served in Londrina, Brazil, for 10 months with One Mission Society, teaching English and working with children’s ministries in a local church. The Miners witnessed first-hand the multiple benefits of short-term missions, and this experience cemented God’s leading for Michael and Ann to facilitate others in practical overseas ministry.

Michael and Ann both grew up in Oregon and are graduates of Multnomah University in Portland. Michael earned an associate’s degree in biblical studies with an emphasis in missions, and Ann earned a bachelor’s in youth ministry. They make their home in Lebanon, Oregon, with their three children, Jessica, Joshua and Natalie. From late spring through summer, the whole family works together on the Miner farm, which includes five acres of strawberries and the harvesting of hundreds of acres of rye grass seed.
