• Leroy and Kay Lindsey

Dr. and Mrs. Leroy Lindsey serve internationally in theological leadership education and discipleship under assig-nment from One Mission Society (OMS). Previously, they spent 15 years ministering in Mexico, in seminary training of Christian leaders and in specialized ministries to families and married couples.

Currently, the Lindseys travel as visiting teachers and lecturers in Bible and theology and are invited to present seminars and intensive classes in Christian studies. Kay communicates dynamically through classes and workshops for teachers and enjoys being a guest lecturer in pedagogy and Bible, when her schedule as a grandmother allows.

Dr. Lindsey has served as president of the Biblical Seminary of Mexico (SEMBIMEX, where he has been named President Emeritus), is on the faculty of other seminaries as adjunct professor, and is an endorsed speaker with the Francis Asbury Society. Kay has been active in academic administration as dean-registrar and is effective in counseling and as a promoter and leader of women’s ministries and retreats. The Lindseys’ ministry has grown to include schools and churches in 20 countries, mostly Spanish-speaking, but also in Asia and Europe. They have served with OMS for 22 years.

Leroy holds a Ph.D. degree in theology from Drew University (Madison, New Jersey) and has earned degrees from Western Kentucky University, Wesley Biblical Seminary, Drake University, and Vennard College. The Lindseys previously served 11 years as missionaries in northern Mexico under the Board of World Missions of the Evangelical Methodist Church, with which Leroy holds ministerial credentials. He has also pastored congregations in various states and has taught in schools in the U.S., both on the college and seminary level. Leroy’s childhood in California and northern Mexico provides him with an in-depth acquaintance with the Mexican culture and the Spanish language.

Kay, who was reared in Michigan, earned a B.A. in Bible and Christian education at Vennard College (University Park, Iowa) and has had further training and experience in early childhood education, higher education, and administration.

When they are not traveling on ministry assignments, the Lindseys reside in Lafayette, New Jersey, and have two grown children and four grandchildren, who live in New Jersey, Georgia, and Florida. Kay enjoys a baking ministry, walking on North Jersey trails and reading. Leroy’s hobbies include cutting extreme, authentic-looking paper snowflakes and walking with Kay!
