Kay and Leroy Lindsey
Dr. and Mrs. Leroy Lindsey, currently residing in Lafayette, New Jersey, serve internationally under assignment from One Mission Society (OMS). After 15 years ministering in Mexico, they have spent the last four years in leadership training and theological education around the world.
The Lindseys now serve as visiting lecturers in theology, Bible, and Christian education in various schools around the globe and are invited to present seminars and intensive classes in Christian studies. Dr. Lindsey served the Biblical Seminary of Mexico (SEMBIMEX) as president and continues as adjunct faculty there and at other seminaries and schools. He and Kay are both speakers for the Francis Asbury Society for Latin America. Kay also communicates dynamically through classes and workshops for teachers. She has been active in seminary administration as dean-registrar, an active promoter and leader of women’s ministries, and involved with retreats and counseling. She also enjoys being a guest lecturer in pedagogy and Bible.
The Lindseys have served in Mexico as coordinators for ALMA Marriage Encounter, an evangelical, inter-denominational ministry to married couples in Mexico, and they continue to hold marriage seminars and retreats.
Because of the great need for sound biblical teaching around the world, Leroy and Kay are currently seeking individuals and groups who will commit to being on their team of prayer and financial supporters.
Leroy holds the Ph.D. degree in theology from Drew University (Madison, New Jersey) and has earned degrees from Western Kentucky University, Wesley Biblical Seminary, and other schools.
The Lindseys previously served as missionaries in northern Mexico under the Board of World Missions of the Evangelical Methodist Church, with which Leroy holds ministerial credentials. He has also pastored congregations in Mexico and the U.S. and has taught both on the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the U.S.
Kay, who was reared in Michigan, earned a B.A. in Bible and Christian education at Vennard College (University Park, Iowa) and has had further training and many years of experience in early childhood education, higher education, and administration.
The Lindseys have two grown children and three grandchildren who also reside in New Jersey.
