Karen met Jim while they both served with CoMission, and they were married in 1999. Since then, Karen has served alongside Jim in the south region, led short-term mission trips to various countries, and participated in training and prayer teams. She has also served in the children’s mission resources ministry (now One Mission Kids) and the Training & Development Department.

Jim earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Lehigh University (PA) and completed a master’s in biblical studies from the Houston Graduate School of Theology in 2000.
